Alumni Profile – Blake Goodman

  • Earned the SoCon Pinnacle Award for the second-straight year at the SoCon Tournament for highest GPA on the winning team. Played in eight games, making four starts. Tallied 254:41 in goal. Posted a 12.01 goals against average. Recorded 65 saves and a .560 save percentage. Notched a 2-1-0 record on the year. Made starts against Furman (March 16), Bellarmine (March 23), #7 Virginia (March 29) and Jacksonville (April 6). Recorded 14 saves against Virginia. Added nine saves against Bellarmine and eight against Furman and Mercer (April 20). Picked up wins over Furman and Bellarmine

 

  • A four-year letterwinner and two-year starter for coaches Michael Williams and Dan Usaj at Shady Side Academy. Honored as a 2016 US Lacrosse All-American. Named 2016 Second Team All-Midwest, WPIAL Division1 North All-Section, All-WPIAL All-Star and Team MVP. Named 2015 Honorable Mention All-Midwest and WPIAL Division 1 North All-Section. Selected as 2016 captain. Member of the 2014 WPIAL Championship team. Played club ball for Titanium Elite. Also a member of the Shady Side Academy golf team
